I completely agree with you. Cannon Beach is one of my favorite places on the Oregon coast.
It's a perfect place to get away since it's still pretty uncommercialized. You will find the shops, stores and art galleries, but that just lends to it's charm.
Haystack Rock is also one of the most photographed nature pieces in the world. No wonder....it's gorgeous!
