Face Rock beach at Sunset Face Rock Beach is a beautiful beach in Bandon, Oregon - hard and flat, and great for walking - with beautiful cliffs and rocks. * From Tony * Thanks for the submission, Angela! I also read that there is an old Indian legend surrounding the Face Rock. The legend goes that you can hear an Indian maiden's voice in the wind and, if you look close, you can see her face carved from the rock. From a cliff overlooking Face Rock, it actually does resemble a face jutting out of the ocean.
