Loved Pixie Kitchen When I Was A Kid!!

I remember going to the Pixie Kitchen for special occasions.

We were a family of six and didn't have a lot of money to spare, but we did get to go when there was a special event or special birthday to celebrate.

Even as a kid in the late 60's, I really loved their smoked herring (or whatever fish it was) and their dip and crackers.

I will always remember the hall of mirrors and the pixie garden, watching it as we ate our meal.

Loved the gift shop that was down stairs, which I believe had more mirrors.

Those were really good family times and I wish it was still operating so my daughter and grand-children could experience it like I did.

Somewhere I have a newspaper article about Pixieland, When/if I find it, I will scan and post.

What great memories... and so happy someone posted their original clam dip recipe. I can't wait to try it out!
