Oregon Coast Coffee, Roasters, & Cafes

Coffee Collage

I have to tell you that there is something nearly mystical about Oregon Coast coffee. I really don't know what it is. I'm not sure if all the cafes and restaurants from north to south get their coffee beans from somewhere over the rainbow or if the delicious aroma of fresh coffee has been blessed by the Caffeine Fairy.

Whatever it is, I can assure you that starting a morning on the coast, nursing a steaming cup of this liquid nirvana is enough to bring a wide smile to your face.

Oregon Coast Coffee HousesI'm an avid fan of coffee. Coming from the Portland area, you'd think that I'd be into the froo-froo coffees that many a Starbucks fan enjoys. Nope. You can keep your lattes and your espressos.

Give me a big mug of drip coffee (Stumptown is my favorite) and I'm a happy camper. I don't need to spend $4 for a cup of coffee. Can you say, "highway robbery?" ;)

Coffee is a comfort food (drink?) for me. It relaxes me. A perfect span of time consists of a nice cup 'o' joe, a newspaper and some good conversation. If I'm home, I like to brew a nice pot of coffee every morning to start my day off right.

Oregon Coast coffee and the ocean surf out the window enhances the experience ten fold. So, let me direct you to some great cafes and coffee houses that look forward to serving you.

Oregon Coast coffee shops are not only terrific places to relax and meet with friends, but are also increasingly popular for people conducting business. Free Wifi has made the Oregon Coast coffee shop a feasible place to hold  virtual meetings worldwide and get that all-important paper wrapped up.

Alight, everyone, please stand and help me recite the Coffee Lover's Mantra. All together now:

Caffeine is my shepherd; I shall not doze.
It maketh me to wake in green pastures.
It leadeth me beyond the sleeping masses.
It restoreth my buzz.
It leadeth me in the paths of consciousness for its name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of addiction,
I will fear no Equal -
For thou art with me;
Thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me.
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of The Starbucks.
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over.
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the House of Mocha forever.
Amen.
