Pixie Kitchen Memory From 1977

What I remember most about the Pixie Kitchen were the billboards that seemed to be about every five hundred miles along the road.

After so many miles of badgering, my dad agreed to take us there. We went through the funhouse mirrors, and then I had a grilled cheese sandwich, my sister had the same. I don't remember what my parents had, but dad looked like he'd been clipped by an iron pipe.

We went to a gift shop, and I found a license plate from Oregon with my name on it for my bike. I had it for years.

Dad said the place was noisy. Mom said "Well, we've done it, we don't have to do it again". I loved it. I even had a pixie hat. My sister had one, but it got stepped on. End of memory. I loved it. Sorry it's gone.

Yup I agree

I was 17 when I went to the Pixie Kitchen in 1975 with my uncle.

It was the first time I ever saw a check that totaled over 100 dollars for a meal :) LOL
