REVIEW: Waterfront Depot, Florence, OR
In Old Town Florence, down on the bay front, we discovered a small little restaurant called the Waterfront Depot that serves the best seafood my husband and I have ever eaten!
It used to be a train depot built in Mapleton, but now serves as a great little Adult Restaurant and Bar. It was recommended to us and when we showed up for dinner they were completely booked for the night, so we put our name down for the following evening.
The Waterfront Depot only has maybe 10 tables and a small bar, and it does tend to get a little loud, but the food is soooo worth it!
We started out with a shared appetizer of crab stuffed mushrooms and were slightly disappointed when they arrived and there was only four on the plate. They were amazing. My husband had the crab encrusted halibut which came highly recommended and he was not disappointed. I had the seafood fettuccine with lobster and it was wonderful.
We then decided to share a dessert called Tres Leches (cake triple dipped in milk) and it melted in your mouth! By the end of dinner we were comfortably full with the Best food EVER! Our meal with cocktails came to around $50 which was by far a bargain.
If you are in Florence, Oregon....the Waterfront Depot is THE place you have to eat. Very Romantic and right on the water.
