Sandcastle Contests On The Oregon Coast

Sandcastle contests on the Oregon coast are a huge tourist attractions. They draw people by the boatload. And it's no wonder. The sand sculptures that people come up with are jaw-dropping. It shows just how creative and talented some people are.

The two most-well known and popular events happening here every year is this one and the Kite Festivals. Both are huge draws for visitors and competitors all over the country.

The annual event at Cannon Beach is held in June and attracts over 20,000 visitors each year. Young and old take advantage of this fun day to create some of the absolute coolest sand sculptures you will ever see. There are roughly 1000 people who participate in this great family event. The most well-known of the festivals is hosted in Lincoln City. Make sure you take a day and join in the fun of this great annual festival.
