Sandcastle contests are a huge tourist attraction on the Oregon Coast. They draw people by the boatload. And it's no wonder. The sand sculptures that people come up with are jaw-dropping. It shows just how creative and talented some people are.

- Cannon Beach's Sandcastle Day
- Lincoln City's Sandcastle Contest
The annual Sandcastle Day in Cannon Beach is held in June and attracts over 20,000 visitors each year. Young and old take advantage of this fun day to create some of the absolute coolest sand sculptures you will ever see. There are roughly 1000 people who participate in this great family event.
