The Houses On Manzanita Beach

We love Manzanita, and we loved staying at The Historic Reed House, one of the houses from The Houses On Manzanita Beach.

It was a really cool, huge 100 yr old house, but the owners recently remodeled and updated everything. But kept the inside with the feel of a vintage house, which had a great updated vintage feel. You can find them at

We visited with 18 family members, and there was enough room for everyone!

We loved that there are 5 separate areas for people to spread out. The family room, the great room, the 3rd floor TV area, the pool table room and the ping pong area. And the fire pit area outside, too.

All the beds were very comfortable, the house was very clean, and the view was incredible! The owner was great to work with, gave us lots of recommendations, and even gave us a late departure so we could pack up the whole family slowly. That's how we roll.

Loved the views, we really loved the big deck and patio area. But what we really loved were all the cute bathrooms, and the big big kitchen with everything we could have wanted, including 2 coffee pots and a keurig coffee maker. And really nice pots and pans. And 2 fridges and 2 dishwashers.

We love Manzanita. It's got everything we could want on our beach vacation. A big sandy beach, isn't too touristy, 3 grocery stores and enough good places to eat so that everyone was happy. Including pizza. And a good location with lots to do. We'll be back.
