Diane Nicole Kennelly and Joseph Forrest Wilson were married June 21, 2009, in the Rose Garden of Avery Park, in Corvallis, Oregon. Jonathan Elder, co-worker of Joe, officiated at the ceremony. The vows and ceremony were written by Joe & Diane. The wedding theme was double hearts, and the colors chosen by Diane were shades of blue and purple. Diane was given away by her father.
The bride is the daughter of Douglas N. Kennelly of Scio, Oregon, and Patricia Kennelly of Lebanon, Oregon. She is a 2005 graduate of Sweet Home High School in Sweet Home, Oregon. She is employed at Circus World Pets of Newport, Oregon.
The groom is the son of Forrest Kent and Marcia Jean Wilson of Toledo, Oregon. He is a 2001 graduate of Toledo High School in Toledo, Oregon. He is employed at Nypro, Inc., in Corvallis, Oregon. He is finishing his Associates Degree in General Studies at Oregon Coast Community College after a year at Eastern Oregon State University in LaGrande, Oregon.
Danyel Pierce, Diane's best friend, was her Matron of Honor. Her two sisters, Tamra Boyes and Lisa McKendree, both of Sweet Home, were the bridesmaids. Josh Hutchens of Corvallis, a co-worker of Joe, was Best Man. The Grooms Men were Aaron Wells, a co-worker of the Groom,of Corvallis, and Robert H. Wilson, brother of Joe, of Toledo. Ilia King from Corvallis, cousin of Joe, was Flower Girl, and Jordan Boyes of Sweet Home, nephew of Diane, was Ring Bearer.
The wedding reception was held in the Maple Grove Shelter of Avery Park, Corvallis, Oregon.
Joe and Diane honeymooned in both Las Vegas, Nevada, and at Wallowa Lake, Joseph Oregon. They are making their home in Toledo, Oregon.
