"Our Oregon coast wedding was something that we will never forget and your web site played a large part in that. Thanks so much for all your hard work, Tony!" Weddings are (hopefully!) once in a lifetime experiences that are to be cherished and fondly remembered. A beach wedding would be icing on the cake! A time when friends and family gather together to share your very special day of exchanging nuptials with you and your spouse-to-be. A day that will change your life for the better for the rest of your days on this earth.
Would you like to share that wonderful day with other readers who may be considering an Oregon Coast ceremony? Click here. Most women start dreaming of their day of wedded bliss back when they were just little girls. While boys are out playing army and blowing things up, the girls are playing dress-up and making marriage plans, filling their Hope Chests with all sorts of wonderful things in preparation for that day. It's just the way we were made differently. Nonetheless, this is a day for the two of you and it should be extra special. A day of perfection in preparation for a life that is sometimes less than perfect. There is nothing more magical than a ceremony and reception at the Oregon Coast. The surroundings and ambiance need to be as perfect as the wedding cake and the flower arrangements. As I said before, the coast is made for lovers and there are many places and vendors that cater specifically to couples who choose to hold their ceremony and reception there. Some of the major hotels and bed and breakfasts have special wedding and honeymoon packages available to make your day totally unforgettable. From what I hear from a few different wedding coordinators, the coast has an unusual habit of having clear, sunny skies and still winds when it comes to any sort of special event there. Some couples have said that they woke to rain and, right before their ceremony began, the clouds parted and the sun shone down. Not to say that you shouldn't expect rain. Always be prepared by grabbing some dollar store umbrellas and find a beautiful wrap to go with the bride's dress. Suggest to your guests that they dress in layers. Have a Plan B ready, just in case the weather doesn't cooperate. Someplace where you can sweep everything indoors if the need arises. How About a Romantic Lighthouse Ceremony? I think that sounds totally awesome. Beach ceremonies are memorable, but fairly heard of when it comes to unique nuptial spots. No one I know has ever gotten married in an Oregon Coast lighthouse. Considering it's possible, I'm not sure why either. Anyway, yes, you can exchange vows within the Cape Blanco lighthouse.
Share Your Oregon Coast Wedding Story.... Did you get married at the Oregon Coast? Where did you exchange your vows? In a lighthouse? On the beach? Was it a small ceremony or a large blow-out?
